Workout Summary: 8.14.17

Pretty solid push day today. I moved up in a few things, which is really nice. Best of all, I got up to 80 lbs on the bench press! Seeing as how my previous max was only 90 lbs, I’d say that’s damn amazing! Look out, goals, here I come!

Here’s the rundown:

Warmup

  • Lots of arm swings
  • 5 lb cable flies
  • 15 wall push-ups

Bench press

  • 1 x 8, 70 lbs
  • 1 x 8, 75 lbs
  • 1 x 8, 80 lbs

Assisted dips

  • 3 x 8, 45 lbs

Pec flies

  • 3 x 8, 65 lbs

Dumbbell flies

  • 1 x 6, 20 lbs
  • 2 x 8, 15 lbs

Skullcrusher tricep extensions

  • 3 x 8, 30 lbs

Seated military press

  • 3 x 8, 20 lbs

Core

  • 2 x 8 (per side) core twists, 17.5 lbs
  • 30 second plank
  • 30 second side plank (per side)
