Workout Summary: 7.17.17

Pretty solid push day, even with a wonky belly from too many homemade pickled jalapeños. I seemed to do better on everything, and even accidentally went up in weight (for a set) on the bench. Sweet!

Here’s the rundown:

Warmup

  • Lots of arm swings
  • 20 wall pushups
  • 5 pushups

Bench press

  • 1 x 12, 65 lbs
  • 2 x 12, 55 lbs

Inclined press

  • 3 x 12, 12.5 lb dumbbells (per side)

Pectoral flys

  • 3 x 12, 40 lbs

Tricep cable extensions

  • 3 x 12, 20 lbs

Upright military press

  • 3 x 12, 20 lb barbell

Pushups

  • 3 x 8, on knees

Shoulder raises, 7.5 lbs

  • 3 x 6, front
  • 3 x 6, lateral

Core

  • 20 second plank
  • 20 second side plank (per side)
  • 20 second superman
  • 10 plank leg raises
  • 10 side plank raises (per side)
  • 10 superman raises
