Workout Summary: 6.21.17

Trainer Lana is giving me a run for my money! Intense WalkFunnyDay with a core workout to boot.

It looks like I went up in a lot of things and we added some new stuff to the routine as well. Exciting times, indeed!

Here’s the rundown:

Warmup

  • 2 x 10 bodyweight squats
  • 2 x 10 lunges
  • 10 step-ups (per side)

Squats

  • 1 x 8, 85 lbs
  • 2 x 8, 95 lbs

Side Lunges

  • 3 x 8 stationary lunges, 30 lb barbell

Step-ups

  • 3 x 10 (per side), 30 lb kettlebell

Seated leg press

  • 1 x 8, 110 lbs
  • 2 x 8, 115 lbs

Leg extensions

  • 3 x 8, 95 lbs

Leg curls

  • 3 x 8, 85 lbs

Calf raises

  • 3 x 8, 115 lbs

Core circuit

Did the whole circuit x 2, 30 second break between

  • 10 crunches
  • 10 leg lifts
  • 5 Russian twists per side
  • Plank: 30 seconds
  • Side plank raises: 8 per side
  • Superman hold: 30 seconds
