Workout Summary: 6.16.17

Trainer Ash is off to bigger things in the bigger city so today I was introduced to Trainer Lana. It was also the start of the “strength” portion of my program and a pull day. Nice!

Solid workout today and even went up a bit. I let Lana know that I have a bit of a self-motivation problem so hopefully she can push me to reach my goals.

Here’s the rundown:

Warmup

  • 2 x 10 small arm circles
  • 2 x 10 large arm circles
  • 2 x 10 push-ups
  • 10 Supermans
  • 1 x 8 deadlifts, 65 lbs

Deadlifts

  • 3 x 8, 115 lbs

Lat pulldowns

  • 3 x 8, 75 lbs

Seated rows

  • 3 x 8, 72.5 lbs

Dumbbell rows

  • 3 x 8, 30 lbs

Bicep curls (concentration)

  • 2 x 8, 15 lbs
  • 1 x 5, 20 lbs

Hammer curls

  • 1 x 8, 10 lbs
  • 2 x 8, 15 lbs

Upright row

  • 3 x 8, 30 lbs
